Recent Grants – 2021
In 2021 Woods Charitable Fund distributed $1,710,000, making grants to 43 organizations for projects based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Grants ranged in size from $10,000 to $300,000; the average grant size was $38,000.
This includes WCF’s fourth Breakthrough Initiative Grant, which was awarded to the Family Violence Council for the Safe and Healthy Families Initiative. The collaboration leads five community organizations providing a coordinated response to child abuse cases in Lancaster County in which domestic violence also occurs. Over three years, the grant is pledged for $900,000.
