In 2017 Woods Charitable Fund distributed $1,726,800, making grants and program-related investments to 62 organizations for projects based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Grants ranged in size from $1,000 to $375,000; the average grant size was $27,410. This includes WCF’s first Breakthrough Initiative Grant, which was awarded to Nebraskans for Civic Reform (now known as Civic Nebraska) to lead a collaborative project called Collective Impact Lincoln. It was pledged for $1.175 million over three years.
