Candice was elected to the WCF Board in 2014.

As the Assistant Dean for Student Success and Persistence at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Candice provides academic success services and help to students whose progress to graduation is at risk. Prior to this, Candice served as both the Assistant to the Provost for Student Success and Diversity and the Director of Retention at NWU. During her time in the positions, enrollment of undergraduate students of color increased nearly 41%. First-year retention also increased 6%.

Candice received a Master’s degree in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy of Daphne, Alabama, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
